If Julio Enciso, comes back soon, and recaptures his form quickly, that will change my score.

His childish enthusiasm alone, is worth another HALF POINT.
But what is your score? (Like me you forgot to add it 🙂)

i've gone from a 10 this morning to a -1 on production of a positive COVID test

better be bloody clear for thursday...
Current government guidance is to isolate for 5 days from first symptoms. So you'd be following government guidance if you start leaving the house from Wednesday.

Personally, I feel like the government policy isn't as strong as it should be. When I got covid before the AEK home game I was determined not to leave the house until I tested negative - first tested positive the Thursday morning the week before, and was testing negative by the Wednesday afternoon (and again the thursday morning and thursday afternoon).

🤞you're testing negative by next Thursday, but if you're not, you'd be allowed out in accordance with government guidance - up to you if that is enough for you.

Maybe a SEVEN? (but a NINE for Thursday) #spoilt

That SEVEN feels a bit mean / ungrateful towards SuperRDZ and his threadbare teenage squad, doesn't it?

Its just the travelling, really. The 150 mile round trip is a f***ing GRIND, and the thought of doing it again tomorrow after what seems like just yesterday, is not that exciting.

But what is your score? (Like me you forgot to add it 🙂)
*ahem*

I'm with you. Saturday at 3pm is so much more appealing. It's when we should be watching football. And a chance to really force our way into the top six conversation. It doesn't get much better does it?

Quietly confident, one or two nerves, looking forward to a Saturday 3pm kick off, can't wait to see Dunky back and see what other selection surprises we get to see.

And remember, Burnley are a thuggish, niggly side who'll target set pieces and a low blo .................

.......hang on ........

......... no actually they aren't like that at all now. Remarkably.

A nine probably,

Saturday, 3pm, hopeful of 4 trains an hour from Brighton meaning a couple of light beverages in town, team playing well, youngsters bedding in, still buzzing from Wednesday. All good. Nah. All GREAT.

So why not a ten?

Because it's sodding BURNLEY. And we all know what that means.

Probably 9.5. I'm hoping that Buonanotte to have his 'stellar' game to launch him onto the same level as Hinshelwood, I reckon once those two are firing on all cylinders we'll be forgetting about recent departures.

We have ridden out some tough away fixtures with an impressive list of players missing through injury or suspensions. We have a young and now relatively experienced squad of interchangeable players all over the pitch. Injured and suspended players are on their way back.

In the back of my mind I am half expecting us to stink the place out and lose tomorrow though. The millstone of being an Albion fan :lolol:

On the other hand I am dreaming of qualifying for the Champions League and winning the Europa league

A 9 tempered by the fact I’ll be watching on the telly, these are wonderful times to support Brighton.

8 and rising…
It ‘feels’ like we’ve turned a corner in terms of some of the summer departures, I thought Igor and Baleba were just excellent on Wednesday and Hinchelwood is a massive bonus.
Dunky is back and rested. RDZ actually has a bit of a selection headache on Saturday now, I have a feeling that he’ll rest Igor for Thursday, he’s played the last 3 in a row.
I’m still gutted for Solly though.

Burnley are crap, from memory a few years back we did them comprehensively for 89 minutes then they got an equaliser with no time on the clock (as it was in those days). Horrible thuggish team, matched by their supporters.

I go with my old man, who is a frail 76. Plus i feel like crap on a stick. I'll stay put in bed and look forward to an afternoon with Warren and JC
Yes good idea - vulnerable people still very much at risk - take it easy and stay warm!
