True.

Liverpool were amazing that night - everything they did resulted in a goal and several of them were top draw. McMahon's was the most delightful chip that belied his image as an 'all blood and thunder' midfielder.

Shame there was no vidiprinter, I always find the written version of a score particularly amusing.

I went. Took the afternoon off work.

We actually played OK! Thomas almost hit me with his penalty at 3-0. The singing and getting behind the team made it one of my best away trips and it did turn that season.

"We're gonna score in a minute (at 9-0)"

"You're not getting Ian Wright" who they were kinked with at the time but didn't seem to need.

My mates are going up on 13th Nov but I can't face it!
