Missing 11-year-old sparks appeal
An 11-year-old boy has been missing from his home in East Sussex since Sunday evening.
Sussex Police said concern is growing for the safety of Jamie Thorpe, who was last seen in the Malling Green area of Lewes at about 1800 BST.
Insp Mark Bright has appealed to anyone with information about the missing boy to contact the force "urgently".
He said: "If Jamie hears this himself, then please contact your parents immediately. You are not in trouble."
Insp Bright added: "Everyone just wants to make sure that you are safe."
Jamie is described as white, of slim build, with blue eyes and short brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a grey Nike hooded top with blue and grey sleeves and a blue hood, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers with blue tongues.
