Tomorrows game marks 10yrs since Gary Speed passed …..sure we can join the Leeds fans in remembering a great player and what seemed to be and even better person . Puts it all into perspective and how quickly did that time pass

I remember when I was a kid my grandparents saying that the older you get, the quicker time goes by.

So true.

I think one of the saddest things about his death is that it was considered likely that he was not genuinely suicidal and had not really intended to take his own life. One mooted possibility was that he placed a ligature around his neck for dramatic effect expecting his wife to find him, then drunkenly fell asleep when she failed to do so (having fallen asleep herself).

The never really knowing must be agony in itself for his family. RIP.
