1000 empty seats !

Where were the 1000 empty seats yesterday at Withdean!!!
The away stand was full, the north stand was full, the east stand and Argus stands were full, that means there were 1000 empty seats in the south stand!!!!!

In all seriousness can someone who was either in the North Stand or East Stand say whether there were many empty seats in the South Stand as from what I could see, there is NO way there were more than 1,000 empty seats.

There does appear to be a counting problem at the Withdean and the significance is that this club could be bieng better supported than it thinks it is.

Looking at it from the North Stand it didnt look as if there were that many in the South Stand but the club said that the away end was sold out but there appearred a number of empty seats.

Is the figure for the away end based on sales of tickets or people going through the turnstile. If it is the latter then it wasn't sold out by approx 50 ish seats.

I'm sure the seats that go to Wickes, match sponsers, press, scouts, etc are not counted in the official figures. Though I can't see how that would add up to that many?

Forest didn't actually look completely full, few gaps in East Stand, handful in the South Stand and apart from next to me hardly any in the South Stand.

Definitely case of numbers for the taxman.

I sit facing J block and there were Quite a few empty seats there; I'd say about 20.

North Stand wasn't full, there was an empty seat next to me for starters and a couple of others in my block.

Can't see there being 1,000 short though.

Had good look about , North stand had a few empty seats , I would say picked out about 50 ish. Family full , east full ,

Away end had few emptys near left edge , would say apx 50

South stand couldnt see any but based on North stand lets be pessimistice and say 200 .

That still should mean the crowd should be over 8,000

Strange to say the least !

According to theback of my ticket stub there's 21 blocks at Withdean. For a thousand empty seats, that's fifty empty seats per block on average. Just ABOUT possible, I suppose, though teetering right on the edge of credibility.

There were two empty seats next to me in c block and then four in front of me.
