Ok, ok So Soild Crew it is - but is there really a difference? Both a troop of gansta wannabes from the inner city with no idea, each individual member lacking any sort of identity or personality...

You sound like an old man.

Correct Bernie Taupin did write the original, however Elton himself wrote the Diana version.

Incorrect Taupin wrote the new words as well.

And yes all the money did go to charity, The Princess Diana Memorial Trust.

A charity that has spent more money on legal fees trying to stop the Franklin Mint from producing naff dolls than on the projects it is meant to support in the first place.

Sorry most charity songs are awful. Gareth Gates, Those two fat birds with Banananrama. Even dare I say it the young ones and Cliff, all truly awful. I would even put Band Aid in there, it was not the best song ever and in my ears one of the worst. Its redeemed only by its purpose.

The list is made up of songs that have made the charts largely and not the worst songs ever.

Where is Patrick D Martin and I like 'lectric Motors? or even ones that did make the charts Red Sovine, absolutely anything by Celine Dion or Mariah Carey. (No-one answered the question from Cheryl "how did she get a contract?" SHE SLEPT WITH THE RECORD LABEL BOSS AND WHEN SHE HAD GOT WHAT SHE WANTED SHE DITCHED HIM!) I mean its also missing 17 by the Reagents (that did make the charts but I doubt is ever played on radio anymore) I ain't getting any by the Monks?

There are hundreds more, certainly worse than I would do anything (written by a true Genius Jim Steinman)

I assume then they never heard Opus 300 by Lieutenant Pigeon. I guess that's because it is an obscure B-side. But it deserves to be dragged screaming into the light...

I actually like quite alot of them songs.

The people on the programme were mainly slagging off the people and not the songs.
