If you watched this last night.....

Agreed with most of the list but Rod Stewart "Do you think I'm sexy?" is a really good track!!! What was that doing on there?

I felt Cliff Richard however, should have replaced The Cheeky Girls at no.1 with that totally uncalled for and blasphemous track of his!!

Agree Northstander. The Millennium Prayer is an abomination that should have won worst record hands down.

Bit surprised by some of the choices; the likes of Cheeky Girls and Barbie Doll are just trash pop songs; mere inoffensive drivel compared to the likes of MP, Candle in the Wind and The Earth Song.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the likes of Earth Song in there, as well as We Are The World by USA for Africa, and equally pleased (but not surprised) to see f*****g Orville the Duck.

What gets me is that so many people buy some of these novelty records. Granted, in some people's minds, the sight of a 3 year old girl singing (badly) Chick Chick Chick Chick Chicken on TV might for one lingering moment, be considered quite cute, but why on earth would you ever go out and buy it?? I can't imagine ever going home and thinking "mmmm, let's stick that on the stereo right now".

Yes I agree, but that was the advert version, that actual song "Spaceman" was in fact an Indy/Grunge track as was the biggest pile of trash that it did in fact belong on another planet other that Earth!!!

Hither (sometimes Thither)
I am shocked and appalled at the inclusion of Lionel Richie's 'Hello' being included in the Top 100. It is quite possibly the funniest video ever made (its in the running with Richie's seminal ode to the heady combination of ecstasy and sex, All Night Long) and i can't think of many songs that have been used as code amongst secret police in John Woo action films.
How many of us would like to have a bust made by a blind woman and then stalk her? Thats right; everyone!

Hello, i salute you.

I agree until I saw the video last night and agreed with the people on the show.

The Video is in fact very creepy, here is this black guy hiding around corners singing to a "Blind" bird "Is it me your looking for...?"

WTF is all that about!! I think like that Bryan Adams song "Anything I do..." it was and still is constantly played on the radio so when you do hear it, it makes you want to smnash the radio up!!

One of the great mysteries of our time must be why DJs at wedding receptions seem to bring along a set of singles plucked solely from the list of 100 Worst Ever Pop Records :dunce:

I've done a few mates' weddings and all of work's xmas and summer parties for the past couple of years. I've never played any of the top 100.

I must admit to having been tempted to play Vanilla Ice.

I noticed none of the 'experts' or 'celebrities' on last night's show had the temerity to slag off this record.

There's a reason for that - it's f***ing great.
