Quite. Call me old-fashioned but some of my fave football grounds are of the type that this 'author' (and l say author because this article is a work of fiction), thinks are the worst. Football is (or was) a working class game, and l still miss standing on the crumbling terraces with my steak & gristle pie watching the game. Trips to the like of Blundell Park and Millmoor evoke many happy memories.

Roots Hall and Edgar Street are worth a nomination for the simple FACT that it's possible to buy a ticket for a space in the ground where it is IMPOSSIBLE to see the match.

I have actually played in one of the best stadiums, the Victoria stadium in Gibraltar, wasnt over impressed. Nice view though

sickening article, this list includes some of my favourite grounds in the UK, The Burnley fan (on another thread) that made a rant about the Amex having a poor internet connection managed to cram a volume's worth about the modern football going "customer" in to that one single line

I like roots hall though. Not sure why its just an odd stadium.
