Not really. The season ticket gives you cheaper tickets because it's an advance, bulk buy purchase. The club want your money early (or the commitment to pay every month) so they they can set a playing budget appropriately. If people knew that they were able to buy a season ticket in Sept or October, with a pro-rata discount, then lots of people wouldn't make the initial commitment in the summer.

Your mate would be better off buying the 4 match package for now and then a half season ticket in December.

Started mine after the forest game and they were adamant they couldn't pro rata the price though they have done in previous years, seems strange as should be relatively simple to do.

Maybe a cutoff at the start and end then, and have a sliding scale of reductions instead of pro-rata.

Office said they sometimes do half season ticket. All very well but friend will not go until they are available and therefore lost income to club. There is of course team going through bad run latter and he changes his mind. Season tickets are about third cheaper then match day tickets so cant understand why they cant offer this anytime if somebody is willing to purchase remaining games

If he buys a ticket for Cardiff using your friends and family discount, and a 4 match pack, then he can see the next 5 home games for £110 - £22 a match, which is more or less the equivalent of season ticket per game prices.

Just got my 4 extra in West Upper, wasn't part of the original offer but on website the tickets show for £10 so the club honoured it. Really good value, especially when you consider that the train fare from Eastbourne is included..
