Hitlers policies were "Right Wing" in his values and yet, he belonged to a "Socialist" party.

Politics is riddled with hypocrisy.

His party was actually called 'National Socialist Party' . Translated in English as the Conservative Labour Party. His purpose was to get votes from both sides whilst following his own agenda. Add in buckets of propaganda and you are in with a chance of being widely appealing. Not really hypocrisy just bloody cunning politics.
