I've just read that if a player gets booked in the Premier League that they get fined £10.

If this amount is accurate does anyone know if the tenner is actually deducted from their wages?

It is purely an admin fee by the FA for the processing that applies at all levels.

Yes comes out off their payslip. That or they wheel a wheel barrow full of pennies to St George's Park

The fa could make a lot of money if the referee's actually booked people for all the kicking lumps and bad challenging that happens in weekend football!

They do. Sussex FA is certainly not short of money

Crikes, a tenner, that's a big ask in these difficult times.

Dread to think what a red card would cost these poor hard-up soccer players ...
