Vincelot won pretty much everything in the air. Would rather have had Spazza on for Dicker. Vince is looking like a top signing so far.
Thought Dicker did well today actually. Great ball for the opening goal. I've mentioned his weaknesses on here in the past but think people are actually going a bit OTT over it now. Far to easy to spot a weakness and then blandly slap it around every week when its not always present.
Dicker is pretty vital to our side and cant be replaced by Vincelot, Sparrow or Harley in my opinion is he plays a different role to them. He's vital in the transitional phase between defence and midfield and does that role very well.
Sparrow/Vincelot/Harley all have a bit more attacking intent about them and don't really suit that role. Vincelot has the attributes to do it possibly but probably needs to be worked on a bit more by Gus in terms of decision making.
Think Sparrow is more suited to a 4-4-2 which is why he has never really kicked on here. Think he naturally wants to cover ground he doesn't need to in our system.
