BZ will prove himself next season. He has already got goals for a relegated side at Div 1 level. I think Hammers will end up having got an excellent deal.

For us, I think the money we got was fair. Shame we did'nt sell him to Everton for £3m in the early part of the Div1 season.

Every player has periods of poor form in his career, & at 23, he's got probably another 12 years to prove his critics wrong. He's still got talent, just a lack of self confidence I guess at present.

But he had clearly lost interest in playing for the club - why else would his agent claim that Dick Knight had stifled his chance to play in the Premiership because of overvaluing him. He was probably less happy under Hinshlewood and Coppel than under Adams, & sometimes, if your face doesn't fit, it's better to move on.

DK had to get the best price he could.
