The Albion have introduced a text hotline for supporters to report anti-social behaviour during matches.
Chris Baker, the Club's Safety Officer, said: "We recognise that it can be intimidating when confronted with this anti-social behaviour and that some supporters may feel uncomfortable talking to stewards in view of those individuals concerned.
"With this in mind, we have launched a text number where supporters can simply text details directly to the Amex Stadium control room, giving details of the location affected, descriptions, and the nature of the issues.
"Control Room staff will ensure that stewards in the area are made aware of the situation and we will take appropriate action to deal with the situation. Supporters will receive an acknowledgement text but the service is completely anonymous unless supporters choose to text their personal details."
Although the service is anonymous, personal details are helpful as they allow us to follow up texts and feedback on the action we have taken.
To use this service, simply text details to 07880 196442

Erm...so you can shop someone and a bunch of stewards will wade in and do something.

It sounds a bit draconian to me.

What if that person just doesn't like the cut of someone's jib?

This is Thatcherism gone mad

They won't wade in straight away, they'll keep watch for a while.
