    [Albion] Aston Vanilla tickets

Hundreds of seats available, should be plenty for the Albion+ and buying history next week...

Imagine how bad Blur find it now. Though I suspect the money helps.

    [Albion] Aston Vanilla tickets

I'm so confident that this will go to all season ticket holders I've even booked a hotel. So please don't sell out before Friday please!

[Albion] Is it wrong that I want Ferguson to score tomorrow more than I want England to win?

I'd like him to do well, remaining injury free and positive. I'd like England to win every match they ever play, too.

    [Albion] Demand for away tickets

I'd like to go to London away games, but it doesn't look likely this season. Instead we're going to do Villa away. Maybe this will be the year we'll win there!

[Technology] Has anybody come off of Twitter / X? How easy did you find it?

I read Twitter, Bluesky, Instagram, Facebook and even sometimes Threads. Don't interact much though - text can easily be misconstrued and it generally isn't worth it. Each of them I find can be useful for different things: Twitter - news, politics, sport, entirely uncensored opinions, often...

[Technology] In six years will AI have completely re-engineered society?

I find AI is like talking to someone "empty". They say sensible things, but are missing any kind of spark. Even if that were programmed into them it remains the "random" element that is most important. Humans have motivation beyond randomness, so I think some kind of motivation would be needed...

[Sussex] Who’s Going to Lewes Bonfire Celebrations Tomorrow?

Waterloo don't charge for the fireside and I don't think Commercial Square do either, but I've not been to theirs recently. Not charging means that all the drunks end up at their places, of course.

[Technology] In six years will AI have completely re-engineered society?

My experience is with code, AI is really handy if you can't remember how to do something fairly normal. Once you want to do something a bit more complex it is mostly useless, or at least needs a decent-time refactoring. We're a long way from AI that works when it doesn't start with "Build me a...

[Sussex] Who’s Going to Lewes Bonfire Celebrations Tomorrow?

There was a whole set of buses to take people back to Brighton laid on and a huge queue for them at 10:30. It's not like there were no non-residents there among the spectators.

[Sussex] Who’s Going to Lewes Bonfire Celebrations Tomorrow?

I wouldn't be convinced that those in charge of the effigies are fully reflective of the membership opinions. I doubt there was unanimity in all those outside The Dorset in the choice of that effigy. But it's one year, there'll be something else along next year anyway.

[Sussex] Who’s Going to Lewes Bonfire Celebrations Tomorrow?

There is a concerted effort to stop people going these days: the transport cut-off, constant mentions not to go on local radio, cones all the way on Uckfield Road to the Power garage. It was pretty crowded in the 1990s - it's clear there were plenty of potential safety issues with so many...

I'll be there. Looking forward to a night with no rain after the last two times with plenty of it.

    [Albion] Leicester City (A) - Sun 8th Dec 14:00

Last time I went there was when they won promotion in 2003, beating us 2-0, and we were relegated (a week or so later). I walked round their ground wishing we could have something like that…
