I use the club parking for every game now for the past two seasons, and always choose the Uni over the Bridge if at all possible. I always stay to the end of the game and clap the players off before ambling back to the car.
In that context, with the Bridge you are pretty much guaranteed...
I was left quite unimpressed by this latest series. Seems I'm swimming against the tide, but it just seemed to lack a real pay off in the final episode. But I think the main criticism is that it lacked Jackson Lamb! Very little screen time compared with previous series.
I think it's probably more likely to not be South East Lower because the players lounge, and seats where the players families watch the game from is on the 1901 level at that end of the stadium.
I've seen this before re engineers not endorsing it... I'm not surprised it's like turkeys voting for Christmas. Sky Glass doesn't require any engineer set up, so they will be out of a job pretty soon if Sky switch to fully streaming.
WE parked in exactly the same place, and usually do the same exit. I think, as someone else said, the problem was that they weren't allowing much (any) traffic through from Estates Road direction for a while for some reason. That is until a few massive blokes got out of their cars and shouted...
It's not fluffy, from experience, UK Power Networks are a bloody nightmare to work with, take forever to do anything and charge a fortune for the privilege!
Yes maybe, if T20 had the same budget and marketing think tank targeting a specific audience! I just think the additional razzmatazz of The Hundred, the decimilisation (sets of 5, 100 balls etc) and general simplification of the game in the way it's described appeals to kids.
I think I've said this before on this thread, probably last year and the year before. My now, state educated, 10 year old son, is the exact target audience for this competition, probably the poster boy for it's invention.
He first got casually involved in cricket through the All Stars ECB...
Clearly it looks like they are running behind and the originally mooted October opening is going to be a challenge!
Also, it seems from that picture to have a lot smaller footprint than I was expecting. Not much bigger than Dick's Bar that is replacing, but with a mezzanine level. Not...
Not to mention by the time they'd faffed around and decided Pickford should take it rather than Stones, and he'd then ambled up to the ball from his area, it had wasted about 90 seconds of the four minutes injury time!
Ditto. It was just horrific. All the way through the tournament I was saying to my sons how lucky we are to watch great football at the Amex instead of that shite that unstructured shite that Everton fans have to sit through. Will never take it for granted again!
Doesn't it mean now though that the guests need to MyAlbion+ members.. thought they needed a fan number so that they can be added to your friends and family?
Yep and since I cancelled Sky, I've brought an Apple TV plug in thing, which has better sound and picture quality and you can download TV guide app for any live TV. I've also subscribed to NOW TV for sports at £20 a month. A massive saving on the £140 a month I was paying.
if this thread is a small microcosm of UK society, then SKY and then by default the EPL, are soon going to have a problem making the accounts add up as they seem to have run out of wiggle room to increase revenue by continually raising prices and retaining customers ...
For some reason once I was halfway through I realised how long it was, but carried on to complete it out of sheer fascination as to what the punchline would be! Not sure if it was entirely FAB driven, as there were a lot of questions about sponsor brand visibility around the club etc in the...
