Yes, I watched the replay on TV many times, but couldn’t work out the path of the ball through the defenders. It looked diagonal, but that pic makes sense of it.
No snow down our way, but we did see a “sun dog” this afternoon - a bit like a rainbow, but close to the sun and apparently due to ice crystals. Wish I’d had my camera with me.
I'm a minimal user of WhatsApp, just a couple of Chat groups. Only recently realised the "Updates" with its "Channels" section might be another alternative for Twitter. I know WhatsApp is linked via my phone number, but I'd rather watch Albion videos on my iPad. There doesn't seem to be a direct...
Thanks for that. The built-in flash is disappointingly missing from the R7. I’m used to not having one on the 6D, but recently borrowed my wife’s 200D and the flash was handy for mushrooms in the shade!
Good luck with Mrs Ted. I was happy with MPB for my trade-in.
Yeah, R10 is a possibility, but I think the R7's in-body stabilisation will be worth having.
The Version 2 seems too far away to wait for, but there seem to be some RF-S lenses in the pipeline.
When you say lag, do you mean between pressing the button and the shutter activating? Is it long...
Just sold my old Canon 6D Mk ii and three lenses, through MPB. Much as I Ioved the full-frame kit, it was “never mind the quality, feel the weight”.
Now looking at the Canon R7 - anyone got one, or have any opinions on the R7 or other mirrorless cameras?
My main concern is rumours about an...
My niece’s partner was in many episodes of Coronation Street, and still does a few odd acting roles. Despite being a northerner, we’ve converted him to the Albion. Not really discussed his career, though.
Pinched this from FB. Amused me...
Thinking of replacing my electric car with a fossil fuel car and have some questions?
1. I have heard that petrol cars can not refuel at home while you sleep? How often do you have to refill elsewhere? Will there be a solution for refuelling at home?
2. Which...
I bought a Honda Jazz hybrid, way back in 2011. I remember being quite evangelical at the time, telling everybody that it was the first step to the future of fully electric cars! Loved driving it, but it had one annoying flaw - the small battery battery recycled itself every so often, and on my...
The OS Maps app is the app I use the most on my phone, by far. Great for planning and recording walks, as well as making them up as we go along. Also great for following (UK) travel documentaries.
The NLS side-by-side maps are brilliant for family history, pinpointing where my ancestors lived...
