Why is anyone going to click on an external link if the ENTIRE article has been pasted here?! It's depriving the publisher of page views and revenue. A small amount, sure, but it's about respect imo. (Also, online journalists are increasingly 'judged' on metrics.)

No. Any time before 9am gave you a chance. Same system was used for Oasis. Much fairer/easier than users hammering refresh and hoping to get a slot.

Apparently the licence is for 210k, and around 150k tickets are sold by Seetickets. The other 60k includes artists, crew, volunteers, hospitality passes and kids under 13 who go free. Hospitality passes are available in the industry for around £1000.
