Against the idea of student tickets, a fairer system would be a reduced tier of pricing for say U21 or low income reductions. I know abroad that some clubs offer discounts to home fans travelling from far way (50miles plus) & to those on the dole.

Considering our supposed opening bid was £300k I would be somewhat surprised if we had increased our bid 13 times over to 4 million. No player with 1 year left on their contract is worth 4 million so for that reason this rumoured bid level is rubbish.
Personally i think Uncle Tony's strategy of playing 'hardball' over the whole transfer window is counter productive. Perhaps it would be beneficial to have a slightly weaker player familiar with the system & team as opposed to a player of better quality signed 3 games into the season taking...
