This is entirely from personal experience, but I'm 20 and went to private school, and if I'm fortunate enough to have sufficient funds, I'd definitely like to send my future kid(s) to one. The reason private schools are successful and so extensive is because of the general failings of state...
It sounded brilliant yesterday, almost everyone joined in and was bloody motivational after we went 2-1 up. f*** off haters, as you were in the minority yesterday. Case closed. If it reminds you of Palace and that night, I suggest we stop singing 'Seagulls, Seagulls' and 'We are Brighton, super...
Nothing personal against him, but that was the greatest blessing of the game. El-Abd is class, and if most defenders are fit in the future, Painter shouldn't be getting anywhere near the starting lineup.
Absolutely this. I'm usually one of the haters, but was incredibly impressed by Barnes' defensive work today. I hardly saw any of the 'Boro players get round him. Outstanding defensive work. I'm still not entirely sold on him, but today has bolstered him in my eyes.
It's not just a Brighton thing ffs. Didn't we just have a thread about Palace being unhappy with Murray (who has surely scored two legendary goals in their club history within 4 months)? I don't rate Barnes, but his goal was timely and his penalty immaculate. But let's not allow one half-decent...
People have to take this game in context. I for one, have come to one conclusion; we play the same way against every team. Not just the same philosophy, but actually the same style of game against every single team, whether it be Liverpool or Wrexham. Against very good teams, we look assured...
Whilst we were incredibly poor tonight, Wrexham were fantastic. They looked like a sure League One outfit - their passing was sublime and their players were much faster than ours. Incredibly happy that we're through to play Newcastle, but Wrexham should be proud, and hope to see them as a solid...
f*** me everyone's bloody miserable on here today. We do hate Palace? If it creates an atmosphere and people join in, why try to kill it? If we try to be elitist about chants, the Amex will turn into a morgue. Des is just too lazy to get off his arse.
An evident pattern has emerged. A team's fans who take points us off at home are generally complementary of the Amex (Blackpool, Wrexham, Leeds etc), and those who we've beaten generally dislike their day out and the stadium (Donny, Southampton etc). Simple.
