Yep. I don't want to be negative but that was an atrocious place to give a free-kick away and if they'd stuck it in we'd have been lamenting two points lost.
However, I'll be glass half-full as he is a sublime player and the way he beat three Arsenal players for that chance at the end was magical.
Watched on my FireStick plugged into tele. A little grainy sometimes (though iPlayer also lags on the FireStick as opposed to Smart TV app) but otherwise very smooth watching experience. I quite liked Shearer as a co-commentator.
Everyone a 10 in my eyes due to the shift they put in.
In particular, Mooy was bloody awesome and I thought Davy (minus a few backwards passes) was really good tonight.
Absolutely phenomenal performance. Every single player put one heck of a shift in. Mooy and Pröpper bossed the midfield and Maupay had great energy. So enjoyable to watch. Love how we were disciplined when we needed to be to weather the Arsenal post-goal tempo.
Barmy how we ended the game with...
Don't be sorry, it's a very good question. I always thought it was a huge shame that Sam didn't get his chance in the Premier League. He scored some absolutely phenomenal goals in our promotion year. I'll never forget his screamer at home against QPR - and I wasn't even there to witness it in...
Hughton in for rest of the season in Hiddink-type appointment Chelsea did a few seasons ago. Would really like to see that as Chris would certainly steady the ship and humble a few players in the dressing room.
As for a long-term appointment, I'd love to see Eddie Howe.
Didn't realise Solly or James played for St Bedes! I went to Battle Abbey so there's the slimmest chance I may have played against Norwood as a teenager, as I was in the year below him and we always played St Bedes at sport. I'm claiming that as a local claim to fame here in Suffolk.:banana:
Just back from the game. First taste of women's football. Albion tried to play Arsenal at their own game by building attacks by passing the ball - they just weren't as good as them at doing it. I just felt we needed a plan B off pumping the ball long and giving Arsenal something different to...
Just got fined £100 (£50 if paid within 14 days) for staying longer in McDonalds car park at Stansted than allowed. Very, very annoying. These airports are Mike Deans.
Quite the risk. Whilst inconsistent, I think Andone has shown enough glimpses of his talent (Palace, Hudders home/away) to warrant staying in the squad. A bit odd that he was chosen ahead of Murray for the Southampton game, and then a week or so later he is shipped out on loan. Maybe something...
