True but he did make a midget club like B'muff PL contenders for 5 years, with 9th, 12th and 14th place finishes and fairly attractive football. We're a bigger club with a brighter future (so we're told), so I wouldn't mind Eddie working some of that here if Potter were to go!
He isn't producing nearly enough when he's on the pitch.
HOWEVER, at least he bought a ticket for that last chance. And let's not forget that was a wicked cross from AJ that Connolly magically put over the bar. Considering we've got a team full of midfielders, none of whom can make anything...
Agree with all this.
AJ should have buried it but my word, until Welbeck's goal the best (and pretty much only) shot anyone had in that second half was Adam Webster - Adam flaming Webster! It shouldn't be up to him to be having shots at goal. Trossard, Bissouma, Ali J, Connolly - JUST SHOOT.
I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry at that miss. I was almost crying at the time and now pitifully laughing now. Really does sum us up at the moment doesn't it?:lolol: :nono:
To be fair, I quite like them as a pairing at the beginning of games. They stretch the game and offer us something different. However, they're not the answer when the other team are entrenched. Welbeck is the much better option then, as his equaliser today proved.
It's not us missing sitters from 4 yards out though really, is it? It's that we could have lost that game. LOST! With Sheffield having 10 flaming men! Even after the equaliser we could have lost it. How on earth can we have some games where we have 5 natural CBs on the pitch and some where we...
I assume somebody's already said this probably across the four pages, but Tier 4 is essentially the November lockdown, isn't it? In which case football will continue, as it did in November.
Interestingly more now that we're on the tele every week! Also the brokenness of the Championship (financially) since listening to Price of Football makes me less nostalgic for 2nd tier football.
As an outfield player? He did okay in my opinion. As a defender? No way. Directly led to us almost conceding a goal (slip) and was very, very fortunate not to give a penalty away with that reckless challenge in the box. I know slipping is largely unfortunate, but it just seems to be always him...
Upson is the best co-commentator I've heard in ages on an Albion game. His knowledge of us shone through from start to finish. Makes a huge difference when you've got somebody there who watches us play probably week in, week out.
Fulham need to sort out the white cover on the stands behind the...
