What I am most excited about is that he does the simple things right. Here’s how I see the difference between him and many of our other players, so far:
Percy: 1x piece of skill, 1x simple, completed pass
Other Albion attacking players: 1x piece of skill, 1x piece of skill, loses ball/misplaced...
Yep, I’d agree with all of that.
Alexis is the best passer in the club IMO. He’s made for games like tonight. I really love the look of Tau: great skill and does the simple things right.
Swansman, comments like those are going to leave you skating on very thin ice with many posters. An awful lot of fans did more for the club between the mid nineties and 2011 than any other manager possibly could now. That's not a slight on GP, just a statement of fact that the fans sacrificed...
There's probably a lot of truth in that about Trossard. He's always blown hot and cold, which is the main part of the reason why he is so frustrating as he shows so much promise.
I'd agree about Neal - he works hard every game, even in those that he's not at his best. I've always thought he is...
March once again proved why he is leading contender in my eyes for POTS. Glad he was taken off after the goal because he'd more than done his shift and didn't deserve to have to endure another 30 minutes because the rest of the team can't see a result out.
Yes, that's all true - but despite that freak result, Watford still went down. Sheffield will be on their way down unless something radically changes. Norwich had a similar post-lockdown run of form and went down. Clubs can't keep hoping blindly that poor result after poor result the same...
I disagree wholeheartedly. If you put out a team as strong as the one GP played (minus Steele), you’re absolutely going out there to win and not be a passive victim to the “drama” and “magic” of the cup.
Logic would say that team, which was stronger than the one played against Arsenal but...
Firstly, I don’t appreciate the patronising tone. I’ve spent my entire life watching Brighton in the FA Cup. I’m fully aware that big teams can be knocked out by minnows - that’s the beauty of it. It doesn’t make it okay though for the “giant” that’s been slayed though, does it? I doubt Bielsa’s...
This flabbergasts me. In light of our injures we put out a full strength squad and still couldn’t beat a LEAGUE TWO team in 90 minutes - not even in 120! Our bar has fallen so low that many consider that a decent day at the office.
Absolutely delighted for him. Took responsibility for an error and saw his opportunity to make up for it, and boy did he do that. Great stuff Jason, four saves in a shootout must be some kind of record, surely?
Oh gosh YES!!! I have spent my Christmas watching this. Finished season 3 last night and shall start season 4 shortly. Incredible show.
I now go round the house answering yes and no in a mix of Swedish and Danish.
