I really like Brentford. Great fans and Frank gives some of the most insightful interviews in the league. Answers questions honestly, rather than using managerspeak, which in turns generates better questions by pundits.
Reminds me of what happened to LuaLua after the Hartlepool injury - never quite the same player after it. Also reminds me of a Michael Owen interview for BT Sport where he said that he was never the same player again after an injury.
And that is the problem with this nonsense interpretation of "clear and obvious." For 99% of people, clear and obvious means that everyone in that stadium knows the decision is wrong. When 99% are none the wiser, like with Mitoma's second, that's not clear and obvious.
We gave a great account...
What's the context got to do with it though? How is it any different to sexist comments of the past when uptight women were told they need to "have a good seeing to"?
He's going to change so many young players' lives, perhaps more directly than if he'd been playing. No wonder he believes God's timing is perfect. Delighted for him and well done Albion!
Indeed. Will be interesting to learn how many years it'll take for people to open their eyes and realise "small dick" jokes/insults are offensive to men. Saw Laura Woods use it the other day and was dismayed at the reverse sexism.
Like most things in life I feel this is all in the wording. If people are “charged” then yes, most people would be resentful. However, if it’s phrased “please could people pitch in a fiver to help with the cost” I think it sounds a lot more reasonable.
I’d love for fouls in the box where there was no clear goal-scoring opportunity (e.g player with back to goal, moving away from goal inside the edge of the box) to be indirect free-kicks.
