I only know a few Man City fans and all seem to be fairly sane and have a good understanding of football. The Liverpool fans I know all believe they are the greatest team ever and deserve to walk the league. I'm happy to see them miss out on a title again by a solitary point
I imagine Potter would've played Webster, Bissouma & Trossard from the start if possible. All 3 would improve our style and fluidity so playing the champions without them was always a huge task. Man City were the better side and deserved the win but on a different day all 3 goals could've been...
We frustrated Man City by being disciplined and somehow the ball falls to Mahrez in our box for them to take the lead. Ultimately how we have been playing at home hasn't got the desired results and seeing Sarmiento maybe the answer
He has been fantastic in his 3 starts. Probably done enough to warrant playing in every game for the remainder of the season. He has shown ability to sit and break up play and move forward and create. We could have unearthed a real gem
Our home form feels even more frustrating when we consider our incredible away form. We need to find a plan B to unlock disciplined sides, or get some lucky scenarios to open up the scoring
What is more important in the long run...finishing 1 place higher and earning the near £2m or giving some of our youngsters game time which could help secure a loan for next season and see them develop like Sanchez, Alzate, White, Caicedo.
If we remove our two woeful runs during the season then we've done rather well in periods. Obviously consistency is a big issue for many sides and once in a rut and our confidence is low it takes a lot to break that cycle
He is doing a fabulous job. If he can get us scoring more goals and give us a plan B to break down disciplined sides then he will get poached by a top team
Odd timing, Burnley have a real lack of quality. They are tough tackling and full of strong players with a tactic to defend for their lives and hope to pinch a goal from a set piece.
I'd much rather they stayed up as I'm confident we would finish above them again next season
If we only have 4 of them and 1 is solely for CB's then we may struggle to recruit well to all positions.
Presumably 1 is assigned to GK & another 1 to CM which is why we have plenty of GK's CB's & CM's. I'd suggest we get in another to focus on ST, CF & WF
