Pro plus got me through O and A levels plus Saturday and Sunday football matches back in the early 80s. I used to take my Ventolin inhaler before matches too. Luckily they didn't do dope testing those days.

I was mostly a Beano fan for weekly comics. After Christmas I used to buy others when they were reduced. When I got a bit older I also used to buy one Dracula Lives and Fireball, which was a secret agent type character. My Nan used to buy me a Smash annual every Christmas too.

I started work in North Street in 1982 and most lunchtimes were spent in a pub in Queens Road. Can't remember it's name but looks like it's The Hope and Ruin now. By the 90s it was pretty much only Fridays that we'd go drinking.

I'm not a particularly fussy eater and have always enjoyed the food at the Amex whether it was on the concourse or in hospitality. There is always going to be some problems with large scale catering but to not look after the refereeing team just doesn't seem like us.

Bit surprising to be honest as we usually do the right thing in most situations.
