I nearly dropped the beemer (BMW R1100GS) in the driveway this morning and it has really f*cked my back up again. So, much as I love her I am going to have to think about changing to a smaller, lighter machine. I'd like your advice, my checklist of essentials are as follows:
1. Must be light...
And I am too. Significant component of an attacking force that Leeds simply couldn't cope with. Hugely disappointed to see him get the nod over COG but massively impressed by his contribution. Plus, of course, you've gotta love him.
Watch the horseback royal guards who parade round the old town every day. The zoo is nice and the ABBA museum opened last year. If you like to fish, you can fish for salmon in the river that runs through the town although I have done a number of times to no avail. Take a river boat trip to visit...
Sorry, I have no idea. Nevertheless, he has broken down countless attacks down the wing by sticking out a foot and steering the ball to a more creative foot. As far as the pen was concerned, it was a soft one, he might have been clumsy but there are many refs that would have waved it away.
I don't understand why so many posters give him a hard time. OK, he might not be the greatest of defenders but he has some great touches and on many occasions he has put the killer cross into the box. Also, I see him as Brighton through and through, a bit like Calde, capable of great things, but...
Sorry, got to disagree, I thought he was excellent in the first half, faded a bit in the second but so did some others, Tex, Ince. The biggest disappointment for me, apart from Best who has been consistently poor, was Baldock, just not good enough. Why did we send Colunga out on loan and retain...
Well impressed by the bikes on here. I don't know about you lot but no matter how good I feel about my bike I always like looking at other bikes so good to see a feast of metal.
After 40 years of biking and owning over 30 m/cycles of every style/size/power I can honestly say that my 1997 BMW R1100GS with ABS and heated grips is the best bike I have owned and qualifies as the 'bike of my dreams'. I've had more modern and more powerful GS's but the old R1100 is definitely...
Wow! That's a blast from the past. The glass animal man and Rockos were always a highlight of my trip to Brighton when I was a young shaver. Rocko sold flick knives and Zippo lighters which, let's face it, if you were a teenager in the early 70's, these were the coolest things to have.
