Yup, just shy of 22 stone and I have no issues doing a 25 mile ride, including Rottingdean to Falmer and up Coldean Lane. They are expensive but still cheaper than a car. The 9 mile commute from Peacehaven still isn't fun with a headwind, but the motor takes the edge off.
