I'd alsonlike any advice going about this as well. Dogs and neglect have ravished my back garden but when I've had parks to take the boy to I've not been too bothered, but obviously now I've got the time to devote to giving him a decent play area and somewhere for us to have a BBQ every now and...
Yup, just shy of 22 stone and I have no issues doing a 25 mile ride, including Rottingdean to Falmer and up Coldean Lane. They are expensive but still cheaper than a car.
The 9 mile commute from Peacehaven still isn't fun with a headwind, but the motor takes the edge off.
Not sure I could do it, although the other day I just stood upstairs for a bit looking out of an open window and that was nice.
For those of us in Brighton & Hove we're lucky to have an abundance of places to go and be outside, its also nice to have it relatively to ourselves at the moment.
It's not just runners those people annoy.
Been on a couple of rides recently and people sauntering along side by side, on bikes or on foot. My personal favourite are people wandering down the middle of a pathway oblivious to everything going on around them. Just stick to the chuffing edges!
Been out on the E-bike for the past 3 days, normally I only use it for the commute so it was nice to go somewhere other than work on it, its also nice to know that I could do more than 9 miles on it without keeling over.
Although in hindsight doing Falmer Road from Rottingdean to the Amex and...
Specifically haven't ridden the bike today knowing it would be busier than normal, just did a bit of work on the car and had some play time with my son in the back garden. That'll do me.
Some inconsiderate barsteward had a BBQ going though, and I haven't got any charcoal.
Was in Newhaven Sainsburys the other day and saw someone that had gone to the effort of buying a mask but had no idea how to wear it properly and all the while she was standing less than a foot behind the bloke in front of her. Obviously weren't together and they had even gone to the effort of...
Hermes should definitely change their name to Herpes, you're more likely to get it then.
All courier companies are only as good as your local driver, unfortunately for us the Herpes driver round our way is only slightly less than useless. They are also nigh on impossible to contact if you're...
Slightly cheaper option could be the Ikea setup, it is compatible with Alexa and whatever else is out there. I've got Hue as I bought it on a whim when it was on offer for Black Friday, but if I were starting out again I'd probably use the Ikea stuff...
I've just ordered 24 bottles of my favourite cider, I might work my way through either the custard creams, bourbon creams (x2) or some jaffa cakes while I wait for them to turn up.
Sorry, what were you saying?
Dropped some supplies off to a mate that is self isolating and took advantage of Diesel being 111.9 a litre at the Esso in Durrington. Brimmed the tank and at current rates that should last me a couple of months at least, a lot more if I start riding to work again.
Unless it is Villa who have to make the decision, in which case we know that they'll do F all but a token fine of wages as they know for a fact they're screwed without him.
Spa Valley Railway will be high on my list, went there at the beginning of the month for what I didn't realise at the time would be mine and my sons last day out with friends for a while.
