As long as they're not mismatched across the axle you should be fine. If you can't get the same make/model of tyre, replace them both.
Also worth mentioning that you should always have new tyres fitted to the rear of the car as well.

Well, yes, timetables are different for different days of the week to meet the demand of those using the service. It's why commuter trains are now starting to be shorter on a Monday and Friday than Tuesday to Thursday. Not entirely sure what point you're trying to make?
