    [Albion] Mooy

Nice and creative, very positive on the ball and a definite yes from me. I think we’ll see more of Mooy as the season progresses. Definitely fits Potter’s style.

[Albion] Newcastle: one point gained or two points dropped?

I’ll have to watch that incident again and I will get back to you on that... That aside, to put your mind at rest, he’s definitely not turning into the next Locadia and in my opinion has shown more than enough already to indicate that he will be our top man and our main goal scoring threat this...

[Albion] Newcastle: one point gained or two points dropped?

That’s harsh. Strikers are selfish by nature, I think he’s looked decent and will prove to be a great signing. I can see him getting between 12-14 PL goals and for a debut season that’s a good return and will see us comfortably safe...

[Albion] Newcastle: one point gained or two points dropped?

Two points dropped but a very positive performance and no complaints here. Play like that for the rest of the season and we’ll win more than we lose. Definitely looking up rather than down :albion2:

    Proms. Last night.

Absolutely love Last Night of the Proms. It’s everything that I love about this eccentric and quirky country that we live in and ALL of the crazy people that live in it. I’ve recorded and will make sure that I sit and watch again with my boys tomorrow evening (well at least the last 30 minutes...

Bryan Adams, (Everything I do) I do it for you.

[Other Sport] Tony Bloom's horses running thread

Just noticed that Tony has one running in the Old Borough Cup at Haydock today (3:35pm) The odds probably reflect the chances albeit he has been backed from 66/1 into 50/1, so maybe value in a very low stakes each way bet. Putting Green 335pm At the opposite end of the spectrum, old favourite...

    [Football] Hughton to Massive

Surprised by that one and thought that the Cowley brothers were being heavily linked with the job. Got to say that if I were a massive fan, I’d have much rather have the up and coming Cowley brothers over Monk, who seems to have a new job every season... I wonder if they turned the job down...

[Help] Southern Water - Metered Bill / Leak, advice please

If it doesn’t go in my favour then I’ll definitely try the ofwat route. I’ve just twigged that my bill runs for the period from 05 December until 13 June but their letter was dated 28 August and was only received yesterday. So that’s two and a half further months on from reading my meter, when...

[Help] Southern Water - Metered Bill / Leak, advice please

It’s a very big number isn’t it. Quite surprised that they’re not going to send an engineer until a week tomorrow, would have thought that it would have been more of a priority given the volume of water being wasted. Given what I now know thanks to this thread, once resolved I’ll be checking...

[Help] Southern Water - Metered Bill / Leak, advice please

Yes definite typo. My bill now says that I’m using 1400 litres of water per day against an historic 280 litres per day.

[Help] Southern Water - Metered Bill / Leak, advice please

You’re exactly right. I’m not aware of how I’m billed and how it works, which is why I was requesting advice from people that may be aware. My question was, is the water meter linked to them and if so can they see that my usage has increased by more than 400% daily or do they simply send a man...

[Help] Southern Water - Metered Bill / Leak, advice please

Once resolved I may just end up like your nutty neighbour, especially if I’ve been stung for a grand, which has literally just been flushed down the drains...

[Help] Southern Water - Metered Bill / Leak, advice please

That seems to be the key bit. If the leak is on my property then my problem. If the joint is faulty or the leak is in the very small (less than a foot) gap between the meter and my property boundary, then it’s their issue. The odds seem to be very heavily stacked in the favour of SW in this...

[Help] Southern Water - Metered Bill / Leak, advice please

Thanks for that Triggaaar, no beating around the push with that. As I say, the impression I got from the call, was that they were lining me up to pay them what is ‘due’ Not a question to you specially but to anyone generally. How do these water meters work? Is it like your Gas and Electricity...

[Help] Southern Water - Metered Bill / Leak, advice please

Oddly enough my parents are having a similar experience over in Woodingdean currently and are having trouble locating the leak, having already spent a few hundred on plumbers trying to resolve the problem but their meter keeps spinning! Not exactly sure but reckon they have been in for between...

[Help] Southern Water - Metered Bill / Leak, advice please

Southern Water have said that they will locate the leak. Given the size of the bill they think it’s a large leak and will be easy to trace.. they’ll then advise whether it’s my problem or theirs... checking home insurance as we speak!
