What I love about both the Amex and new training facilities are that they are both buildings with architectural merit. They contribute to and enhance their settings. We're not throwing up any old cheap and nasty tosh that will date and look shabby in a few years time. That vision secures a lot...
I've lived away for 21 years now. I don't so much miss Brighton itself but Sussex. I was brought up on the edge of Ashdown Forest and I miss the contrasts of the Sussex countryside rolling downland and the forests of the High Weald. And Harveys :drink:
I get home to see my family at least twice...
Architect - I run my own practice whose name abbreviates to BHA
My little brother has a better job though he's a groundsman for the real BHA looking after the training ground.
I am loving the possible permutations and drama ahead of us tomorrow in the Championship. Its got to be the most exciting league of the four English divisions. The best thing is we're safe in the knowledge that we've finished 4th nothing can happen to us whilst nearly every fixture has some...
I went to both and have mixed memories about the games. Notts Co was a damp squib, a poor performance in the embarassing Chewit wrapper kit. Tommy Johnson tore us apart that day. The big thing I remember is the sea of blue and white and the racks of empty seats in the Notts County end. Cardiff...
Rang the ticket office yesterday to find out where mine was as I ordered it at the end of March. They said they were sending out the greater portion of the tickets yesterday and today. Roll on Saturday should be a belting atomosphere
Very sad news - I will always be remember him for wearing Fozzie's headband at Wembley but a good solid player during our best period in the club's history
MOM definately Greer. All of the back four were solid but he stood out. The whole team were set up well we had really good shape throughout the game. We clearly missed the speed of our wide men in the first half but Gus sorted it. The tempo picked up and once we scored any confidence Boro had...
Pawson is now my favourite ref! I never slagged him off or questioned his ability to take charge of one of our biggest games of the season at all!
I think we all dreaded the potential impact he may have on a game where the Croydon syncro diving team were on display, fearing another Burnley type...
So many things to enjoy
1. All three goals involved beautiful football.
2. The full house going mental
3. Parr's run and epic fail
4. The two blokes in the east stand lower hamming it up to the does your boyfriend know your here and giving it large to a load of Del boys and Rodneys in the...
I was there too. Taylor had a cracking game. The timing of the winner couldn't have been more perfect. Taylor spend about 5mins after the final whistle bigging it up with the Geordie faithful. European nights are always good on Tyneside.
The one bright note was Lua Lua he looked really threatening everytime he got on the ball and there was a brief spell when when we equalised when we looked like we'd push on and take the win. Brief being the word as within 5 minutes or so we handed them the game on a plate. IMO Kaz should start...
Great only my second ever visit to the Amex for a match and that c##k is ref again! He ruined my maiden visit after 9 mins ...unbelievable.
Better practice the Great Escape again lads and lasses as a couple of powder puff tumbles from Palace's sycro diving team and we'll be belting that one out...
Whoever he is wished me a happy birthday today! Its not for another two weeks but I'll forgive him it must be tricky checking dates whilst riding a seal.
