We were far worse at Fulham than we were last night. We created a few very good chances, their keeper was MOTM - it happens.
Toney is a very clinical striker, and that sort of thing makes a big difference in scrappy games like last night.
It's a bit unfortunate for RDZ that Tuesday night now...
It was a bad time to play Spurs. I'm sure it was an easy team talk for Conte after the death of their fitness coach, and their switch of system made them far more solid and they completely overran us in the middle to begin with (even if Biss looked miles off it).
They're also one of the worst...
Hope Biss gets a great reception tomorrow, he went about his move in the right way and was fantastic for us. Lots of Spurs fans expecting them to lineup in a 352, so wouldn't be surprised to see him start.
Avanti are a shambles and only confirm the timetable/release the tickets a few days before the day of travel in some cases... I haven't seen anything about maintenance work on that day, it's just that tickets haven't been released yet I believe
He's no longer interim manager of Derby but there's nothing reliable suggesting that he's coming back to us? He's still employed by Derby as a member of the coaching staff..
Yeah. OR, just get rid of the whole pre kick off noise, it should be up to us to generate the atmosphere.. or at least provide something more simple that can be sung along to (and we can be heard over).
Also, I can't remember whether they've been on there for the past few games, but it'd be...
I would imagine the lower tier will be sold out by Monday at the latest, so anyone wanting to bring guests will have to settle for seating in the upper tier... Will be a great view I'm sure, but not sure there'll much of an atmosphere if the no standing rule is strictly enforced.
As an aside...
Someone like Russell Martin might be a success, but it's a risk we don't need to take. We're fourth in the PL, we're on the back of our best ever season and we have an incredible squad - there is absolutely no need to take a punt on a manager who has achieved very little apart from playing...
I think Svensson is a great shout, and is someone the club will definitely have their eye on.
Mainz are great pressing team, very good defensively too.
Would he come though?
He's obviously lost his way a bit, but he's still only 21 and was incredibly highly thought of when he broke through ( see: https://twitter.com/IbzSpeaks/status/1564390735654408195 )...
Also, there wouldn't be too much pressure on him to make an instant impact as we're fairly stacked in terms...
