[Albion] Jack Hinshelwood [9/4/24: new deal to 2028]

He's in the England u21 squad, so we'll know if it's anything to worry about soon enough..

    [Albion] The crowd tonight

I think they were actually singing 'is this the Etihad' which is quite funny tbf

    [Albion] West Ham away tickets

Looking forward to this one - a great away and the Saturday before Christmas at 3pm. Potter might be in charge by then too...

[Albion] Safe Standing 25/26 season (North Stand)

So we could see a scenario in which the away end has safe standing but the North doesn't?

[Albion] Away fans in home ends

Was decent this season, last season probably had something to do with us being schooled by them. The Liverpool first half was some of the best football I've ever seen us play. I wasn't there so won't pass judgement but it's a shame that some are saying the atmosphere didn't match the performance.

[Albion] Away fans in home ends

There are loads of players comps at pretty much every away, especially the big London ones. It's never stopped us creating a good atmosphere at Arsenal or Chelsea. I wasn't there on Saturday but it sounds as though the issue was Albion STH's & Members either being Liverpool fans or passing...

[Albion] Liverpool vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

Almost perfect that half... Stunning from Hinshelwood and Ayari so far, and the pressing from the front has been phenomenal. Very much in line with Hürzeler's messaging re: strikers as the first line of defence

Hoping for a repeat of the Newcastle performance..

[Albion] Away fans in home ends

Agree - spotted loads but they all seemed to be well behaved. Struggle to get annoyed about this one as I imagine the stadium would have been a few thousand emptier at least without the plastic Scousers

[Albion] Enciso is such a ray of sunshine.... not

Historically South American countries take Olympic football very seriously. I really don't see the issue with him wanting to play - his career is finite and he might not have got the opportunity to play in it again... Was he not fully fit? He got significant minutes towards the end of last...

[Albion] Brajan Gruda **SINGED 14 Aug 2024**

Poor Adingra. All he did was score, forced their keeper into a worldie save from a great header, set up Lamptey for a one on one (which he should have scored) AND rank as WhoScored's MOTM. I don't think he needs to be embarrassed

[Albion] Enciso is such a ray of sunshine.... not

Wanting to represent your country at the Olympics isn't 'giving it billy big bollox'...

[Albion] Enciso is such a ray of sunshine.... not

He's hardly started two games in a row since a 6-month injury - what do you expect? He's had 84 minutes of Premier League football and a few League Cup appearances this season, and I thought he was decent against Crawley and Wolves. He wasn't great last night but the overreaction on here is a...

    [Albion] Danny Welbeck.

Sounds like he is very happy here, but it would have been interesting to see what happened if United came in for him before he signed the new deal. He was out of contact at the end of the season and United would have offered a move back home and more money

    [Albion] Danny Welbeck.

https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5883160/2024/10/30/ten-hag-amorim-welbeck-berrada/ Won't include the whole thing, but it sounds as though ten Hag was very keen on Danny before he signed his new contract. 'Last year, the target was Harry Kane of Tottenham, who instead went to Bayern Munich. In...

    [Albion] Hürzeler’s coaching team

Nah the three quarter lengths fella with the hair is Marco Knoop, he's the set piece coach - might just be defensive set pieces, not sure. He does seem a bit nuts, I'm certain he vapes on the touchline too, quite funny

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs Liverpool *** Official Match Thread ***

Okay, the first Albion mens first team competitive penalty shoot out - I'm sure the first one was very important and exciting, whoever the hell it was

I reckon we'll see the Amex's first penalty shoot out tonight

    [Albion] Hürzeler’s coaching team

A quick Google suggests he's Stefan Kuntz's assistant with the Germany u21s, and also head of the DFB's Pro License course. Sounds very us - the teacher's teacher
