I thought that Dunk's interview after the match was measured and masterful. It said everything, without causing further aggravation for him or our great club.
I do agree that action needs to be taken to ensure the standard of refereeing in England is at least competent; ironically because we are currently the major victims of incorrigible decisions, in the court of sympathetic public opinion, we are least qualified to speak out. It really does require...
Again.... there are so many variables that I will resist making any prediction. Again, as RDZ has emphasised the expectation always is that the players give their best and play to the plan.
That will do for me........
I think we have established beyond doubt that Potter was a mix of good and bad, like the majority of the rest of us. He has paid a heavy personal, if not professional price for bad choices.
I cannot forget the timing and manner of his departure, but then I see everything through the prism of...
We can never know how it all happened but the timing of their exit from our club was as bad as it could get and that's it as far as I am concerned.......
Just a final thought. Wherever Potter goes I hope the fans will know the history of their club and that he enjoys the 'easy life' there that he spurned to go to that poisonous West London place.....
I wanted Potter to fail at Chelsea partly because of the manner and timing of his exit and partly because Chelsea is such an obnoxious Club.
Now I hope he enjoys spending the huge pile of lucre he has amassed.... and that he enjoys success with his new club/s; always ending up just below us....
I suppose the fundamental question with Cucurella has to be 'Did he overachieve in his year with us or is he just having a run of poor form with Chelsea'?
