It is yeah - great location to the centre of town and quite a few different options for sitting/standing. £3 entry for students and 7.30 kick offs on Friday evenings meaning you were in the pub by 9.30. Nice little way to get your football fix whilst at uni.
Here we go again. Obsessed. "Scottish football is so shit but I can't help myself from posting regularly about how shit it is on the messageboard of my very successful English team".
With a lifetime (well, about 24 years and counting) of season tickets paid for, quite a lot of merchandise, £20 a game on food/drink, not to mention the money spent on away travel and tickets (ok, not money to the club but still spent ON following them), I am not going to lose any sleep and feel...
Kerr is 19. The point you were making is that players from Scotland aren't good enough. I beg to differ.
By the way - Kayal's 80 appearances were over 5 years. There were injuries but he had been fit for a while when we signed him but was out of the picture at Celtic. Celtic's loss, our gain...
Do the Premier League still send 3 unfashionable teams to play in a friendly tournament somewhere like Malaysia, marked as something like the "Premier League Tournament"? We could be one of those unfashionable teams!
I seem to remember them being by far the better side for most of the Withdean game (despite scoring 2 late-ish goals to win it), but would love to stand corrected!
Except we weren't though were we? We won the league by 3 points and had the last 4-5 games off.
Southampton might have had a better squad than us (they certainly spent enough money on it), and might have on their day been able to beat us, which they did. But the league lasts from August to May...
Didn't Lee Clark have some sort of road-to-Damascas conversion regarding us half-way through the year? After the away game made pretty xenophobic comments about our foreign contingent and style of play, then by the time they played us last game of the season was gushing with praise and insisted...
Saying what they've said gives the club the authority to punish anyone who is caught being a bit of a knob, without needing to fully investigate exactly what they did once on the pitch. I.e. running straight to the away fans and goading them OTT, trying to act hard by roughing up away players...
I know when they first started using this system, the windows were designed so that there were enough tickets for everyone in the first bracket. Otherwise, what's the point?
