The one and only PETER WARD has agreed to fly over for the game again this year.
This will be the third (?) time that he has taken the time to fly over to take part in this game.
He will be joining other ex-Albion players Ricky Marlowe and Paul 'Dodge' Rogers for what is shaping up to be a...
Seems strange that the game is on a Sunday at 12pm because the police are worried about it kicking off and now they are putting all the Palace fans in a pub and letting them leave the ground whenever. If they were going to do this why couldn't it be a 3pm Saturday game?
He will be mad to employ either of them. It needs a big name AND someone who can deliver on the pitch. Something that neither Poyet or Zola have done yet, not at the highest level.
Well none of us know what is said on the pitch between players. I would be amazed if he wasn't in the ear of every player he comes up against but if you think he doesn't then that's up to you.
I would say its more like every game rather than occasionally and for the purpose of this thread and the point it is trying to make, yes I am comparing them.
I am pretty sure that school kids taking the piss out of someone for having a big nose has been around a lot longer than Joey Barton. I dont think you can blame him for that.
I do but the point I am making is that the reason that it's "always Joey Barton" is because people make a big issue about a mundane thing such as calling someone 'big nose', just because of who it is.
Like I said, I am sure 99% of people on here dont think that El-Abd has serious anger...
In the grand scheme of things, saying someone has a big nose isn't the worst crime in the world. Like I said, if it wasn't Barton then nobody would care.
I am sure he isn't the first one to call him 'big nose' and I am sure he wouldn't be the last.
I think had anyone other than Joey Barton done it and no body would be talking about it. Do you think that El Abd has 'serious anger management issues'?
I don't want this to turn into a row about who should be told what about someone else's inclusion.
My original comment was a bit tounge in cheek on a thread I saw whilst looking for something else.
Gareth (and everyone else) has done and will continue to do a great job in recruiting ex pro's...
Is there no chance that during the week Dick's is conciderd more of a cafe/restaurant type place and kids will be fine in there. On match days, it is very much a bar and under the licensing of a bar kids as not allowed?
