Don't be so condescending. I am as much interested in politics as anyone but I made a protest vote. All the main parties are so out of touch with the majority of the electorate so need reminding that some of us are telling them to change their outlook and policies.

Not voted on this poll as it doesn't fit how I stand. If serious re negotiating happens to my/our satisfaction I would vote in. If we get nothing new and EU carries on with dodgy accounts, no proper immigration controls etc. I would vote out. Have to see how land lies in 2017. In the meantime...

I inherited a hallmarked 18 carat gold ring and want to have it re modelled. However a jeweller told me that if I did so the ring would lose it's hallmark and therefore could not be classed as 18 carat gold. Is this correct? Surely 18 carat gold is the same however presented? Any views on this?
