[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

No source, just pure guesswork. Could be as few as 500-1000 holding out. Whatever the number, there are some holding on for an Upper Tier option ( my group, to name just 4 ). Its a gamble. We will have to wait and see.

I rang the club and was informed that no decision would be taken until all lower tiers had sold out.

[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

Could be another 2-3,000 out there, all waiting for the possibility of an Upper Tier. ( 4 in my group ) Cannot see any decision from the club until Monday at the earliest. Between now and then, a fair few of those 700 will go. Some fans will just not be prepared to take the risk and will commit...

[Albion] league table looking scary - we still have to play 7 of of top 8!

Yes. Wonder how noisy they are at the moment? Mind you, it could get a bit lively when Carvahal visits with Swansea.

....and a bell like John Westwood ( Pompey ) to drive everyone crazy.

Over 700 to sell yet, before that happens.

    [News] The First Briton

The inability to speak or understand the native tongue is the single biggest factor in lack of integration. Some immigrants enter this country unable to speak a word of English or understand even the most basic level of communication. They immediately gravitate to areas of familiarity and stay...

Disagree. Skin colour is the single biggest factor by miles. Any shade darker than ' pink ' and the prejudice kicks in, with many people.

[Albion] league table looking scary - we still have to play 7 of of top 8!

Wow. Now there is optimism. Burnley were still good enough to take a point off the best team in the league last weekend. Leicester do blow hot and cold but on their day are much better than us. Let me think about our history v Arsenal.....lets not! Tottenham didn't have to break sweat against...

....You might have to put Man City in that mix as well.

....and they play as poorly as West Ham.

[Albion] What is your view on the c4% season ticket price increase?

Food costs continue to rise, so the caterer will always be passing on increases. Throw in increased travel costs and other inflationary factors and a rise was inevitable. Not welcome but they know we will continue to pay it.

[Albion] What is your view on the c4% season ticket price increase?

Man U have a totally different agenda to ourselves. Their principal objective is to market themselves globally, as widely as possible. Thats why they limit ST's to 55,000. They want to be able to offer 15,000 to 18,000 tickets on a matchday basis, worldwide and make them attractive enough in...

[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

I firmly believe CH will give the FAC his best possible shot. He will want players to be in action over the 6th round weekend ( 16th - 19th March ) If we don't get past Coventry, there will be no fixture between March 10th ( Everton A ) and March 31st ( Leics H ). He will not want this level of...

[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

Ok....so quite a few already gone today. Every indication they will eventually have to open at least one upper tier.

    [Albion] Duffy and Murray

Yes. There appears to be more concentration on pure power, rather than accuracy. A nicely cushioned header to one of his own players, fifteen yards away is preferable to a massive launch 35-40 yards upfield, that goes straight to the opposition and thus comes straight back at us again.

    [Albion] Duffy and Murray

Ironic that he is lambasting a player on top of his game at present, when he has allowed his own high standards to slip rather badly in recent weeks, putting his own CB partner under a huge amount of pressure. He needs to concentrate himself on doing the basic things right, rather than over...

[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

I think a number of people will wait for at least another 2-3 days just to gauge the offtake from general sales. There are clearly quite a few who would prefer upper tier and so they are holding off buying at present. 5000 more to shift in the lower tiers won't happen for a few days yet. I guess...

Ground capacity = 30,500 Less 1901 = 28,000 Less WSU = 23,000 Less ESU = 21,000 Less Cov = 16,500 Just under 5000 left, so approx 11,000 sold to Albion fans thus far.
