and with regards to the potential Middlesbrough move:
he followed their instagram and unfollowed ours, before following ours again

...and also posted this on his instagram story before shortly deleting it:
you can't win either way. if he goes to liverpool, it was obvious he'd choose them over little old brighton. if he comes here, then liverpool were obviously never seriously interested in him and the story was fabricated/overhyped by journalists.
he was our first signing after promotion. if anyone symbolises our PL era thus far, it's him. can definitely see him leaving in the near future, I think we're ready to move on, but he will always be a cult icon here
can definitely see trossard being rested after being taken off at HT today, assuming he isn't out injured anyway. couple of key players like webster and maybe maupay starting, and hopefully mac too. can definitely see groß coming back however, and it'll be interesting to se how potter plays...
it's always been the way. can't risk upsetting the big six. that being said, I don't think experience counts for much with regards to competence, based on the performances of some of the senior refs this season.
I'd just like there to be ONE more game this year where I don't come away feeling utterly livid and f***ed off. that's all I'm asking for. pretty please
you would at the very least know on the 26th in that scenario, as parliament needs 48 hours notice to be recalled.
that being said I'm (maybe wishfully) thinking that the public appetite for more restrictions simply isn't there, especially after a week of fairly good news on the omicron front
