It is August, lots of families on holiday. Two of our group were missing because of this.

What worries me is that the club now say they have achieved their main player targets. I was thinking those we have bought were squad players and the big guns were yet to arrive!!! Not overly optimistic for season now, but you never know, we could shock everyone.

Strange I was shot down a couple of weeks ago when I asked "What's gone wrong. Those of us who put up with the misery of Gillingham and then got soaking wet at Withdean, were told once we have the Amex, we will have no problem attracting the players we want". All sounds hollow now!!!

Agreed. However this applies to all clubs and some haven't got parachute payments, i.e, Brentford, Sheffield Wednesday, etc..
