Strange that so many of us have for weeks been envisaging the scenario that was played out today, but were jeered down.
Worrying that the powers that be seemed less concerned.
Anyway, first match so let's hope it will be sorted and that the result v Cheltenham on Tuesday doesn't mirror Newport...
What worries me is that the club now say they have achieved their main player targets.
I was thinking those we have bought were squad players and the big guns were yet to arrive!!! Not overly optimistic for season now, but you never know, we could shock everyone.
Strange I was shot down a couple of weeks ago when I asked "What's gone wrong. Those of us who put up with the misery of Gillingham and then got soaking wet at Withdean, were told once we have the Amex, we will have no problem attracting the players we want".
All sounds hollow now!!!
About six months ago I had a letter through the post, from NHS, which said as I had been gluten free for past twenty years they were advising me as to an update in bread I should be using.
Have never been diagnosed with a gluten problem.
I took the letter to the docs who asked me to confirm I...
Had a VW Passat 6 gear diesel on hire in Ireland a couple of weeks ago. Had 12km on clock when we picked it up with a full tank.
When we returned it we had 1040km on clock and cost £63 to fill up. Think fuel is a little cheaper in Ireland, or at least diesel is cheaper than petrol.
I thought...
........all the while Sepp Blatter is in charge, says Greg Dyke. We have no chance of being awarded any.
FA will only try to host UEFA tournaments until Blatter goes. However he is seeking his 5th term as chairman of FIFA so could be quite a while. (Mail today).
I have always considered that the Clough/Taylor era was the start of the modern Albion.
Up until they arrived we were just one of dozens of teams who moved slowly through the 4th to 2nd tiers of the League and back again.
Of course the Archer/Bellotti cretins tried to take us back permanently...
Who has said I am not having a fantastic ride at the Amex. Having experienced every match at "home" in Gillingham and also Withdean, Amex is a dream.
Yes, we have brought in a lot of good players, and managers, and lost a few.
My original query was that the new facilities would encourage the...
When the Amex was being built, and we were at Withdean, the general opinion was that we would have no problem attracting the right players we want because of the new facilities.
Well, now, with a fantastic city to live in, a fantastic stadium and fantastic training facilities, we forgot that...
Convinced about what? The men were 23 + and the jury found him not guilty. End of.
It's not the EU where they keep asking the same question until you agree with them.
