I very much suspect that he'd have kept his job if we'd been relegated, regardless of what was printed in respect of the sacking happening after the Cardiff debacle.
Whoever comes in, I hope we do whatever we do with a fight. The last 3 months have been painful to watch and i'd rather go down...
I voted yes, but in previous posts have said that I didn’t want him to lose his job(but that he needed help in the attacking department). If the board stopped believing in him, then it was the right thing to do. They obviously thought he’d reached his ceiling, so it was time for him to go.
I...
I’m really going to miss his influence on the pitch. Top man, deserved the plaudits today. I hope the club find a place for him, and perhaps he’s part of the match day process for the benefit of the players.
I need to buy the + membership package to see available tickets, but that’s another £45 for me and my boy, on top of the potential £80 for tickets. I’d love to be there, but it looks like I’ll be watching on the telly
Yes, signed in. However, I wonder if I don’t have the membership criteria to be able to purchase. The pink button doesn’t have the buy option highlighted. I have a decent purchase history, but only white membership
I’ve been watching the ticket site for the last week and nothing seems to come up. So with that in mind, if there is anybody reading this thread who can’t go and can’t be arsed to list their tickets. PM me please, looking for 2
It is a worry that a player with such success in one season, can be so bang average the next. I wasn’t aware until I read it, that he didn’t manage an assist either. I hope a good pre-season gets him off and running next season, but I fear we will take a massive loss on him at some point
Welbeck would be a good addition to our squad if he fitted in to our wage structure and could stay fit. However, both of those criteria are answered: NO.
So that’s that then....
If Ajax genuinely want Propper, they can have him. He’s not cut out for Hughtons team, unless he moves him forward and removes the reliance to either head the ball or defend. Propper has some good touches, but strikes me as a luxury player, and lower position clubs - such as us - can not afford...
Sorry, disagree. He jumped in with his back turned. It was a cowardly tackle, and not the first time he’s done something like that. It was right in front of where I was, and sadly it was a yellow card all day long
Shocking first half set up by CH, what was he thinking. Second half, back to what the players know(4-4-1-1) and we start to show better form. Andone is proving to be a liability, 2 games and twice he’s been booked inside the first 15 mins.
Gross however has now played 90 mins, 3 times in 8 days
This is the first I’ve heard about this change, and I’ve just been reading up on it.
So for me that’s it, I no longer need an MOT certificate.
Thanks for the heads up!
