Spoke to a club official yesterday who said it wouldn't be open until the Doncaster game. He said there were no signs yet because there are 3 possible ways to get to it (1 via the reception door, 2 via the club shop) and they hadn't decided which one they were going to use yet.
I was in the family stand so North end - half way between Penalty area and half way.
When the wind blew we got wet but at one point the wind died down and despite it pissing down we stayed fairly dry.
Wettest bit was walking round the stadium!
Facilities great and the club shop looked really good (although not fully stocked yet).
The noise really carried and when there were only about 15 people singing it was noisier than Withdean ever was.
Food was mixed and the service was awful. Was front of the queue and it still took her 10 mins...
Ordered mine on Wednesday (along with Spurs, Gills and parking Ticket). Got a receipt through the post on Monday but there were no tickets enclosed. Anyone else had this?
Am hoping they will be on smart card (which I also haven't received!)
Cannot contact the club? I had a couple of issues and needed to phone customer services. I did this twice and they answered and sorted the problems immediately.
Seems fair enough to me.
Am travelling down from Crowborough with family so it will probably be the best option for us.
Don't fancy overcrowded trains to Lewes with 2 small children every game. Could use the Mithras house Park and Ride (as we did at Withdean) but will be even less sustainable as...
With both of these games being limited capacity will only certain stands be open or will it be all stands but some half empty?
Just wondering if we are likely to be able to get our own seats for these games or if we wold be moved due to limited opening.
Thanks
Dick Knight saved this club.
Bloom has taken it to the next level but no-one should forget what Knight did.
If it weren't for him the club would have gone under under the guidance of Bellotti and Archer.
Anyone who does not realise quite how bad a position the club was in before Knight came in...
In terms of his attitude/demeanor I think it is more to do with him being settled with regard to his personal life rather than his contract about to run out.
It's not 10k.
If it was Murray would have signed.
6.5 k is not a million miles away from what Glenn is asking. However he asked his agent to put the feelers out to see what he could get.
As I've said before although Palace are interested they also are not happy to pay much more than us for a...
10K a week is WAY over our wages ceiling.
If we pay that for a player every other player in the squad will start asking for a pay rise. Every player we sign will be aware that we are paying up to 10K a week and will be demanding the same (especially players with championship experience).
Paying...
Ordered and paid for on 19th.
Still not arrived.
Will phone tomorrow to ask for a duplicate to be left at Notts Ticket office - of course this will take about an hour of holding as so many other people will be doing the same!
Trouble is it is not just about Glenn Murray.
If we pay him what he wants then we smash the wages ceiling and it will lead to other players demanding more.
Bloom is sensible and will not overstretch the budget - even if this does mean losing a quality player.
Glenn's agent is indeed Bobby Bowry.
Glenn is not unhappy, just wants as much money as he can get. His current demands are way above the current wage ceiling at the Albion (of course both could change)
He has asked his agent to put out feelers and see if any clubs would be willing to pay what he...
