We’re like a supermarket for other clubs, when was the last time anyone was interested in a Palace player? Wan Bissaka to United in 2019 is about the sum total of it in living memory (Zaha’s mini ‘transfer’ to Utd in 2013 doesn’t count).
We could win every remaining game and Palace lose all of theirs and they’d still be right behind us in the table. A strange phenomenon. Can never shake them off.
Apols if already posted - love the post-match footage of the kid going absolutely nutzoid when Dunk throws him his shirt at the end. Just fantastic to see.
Our Everton result also has to be seen in the context of their draw against City the previous match. By that barometer we should be able to dispatch City too...
:)
100%, RDZ has a warmth, a ‘human’ side GP seemingly lacks. You wonder what someone like Bruno ever saw in him...beyond a fat Chelsea pay cheque. As for Swansman...
With us having our midweek game ‘in the bank,’ the City/Chelsea game is a fantastic prospect, another possible bad result for Potter, plus Arsenal being reeled in by City. City winning the title I can do, because no one cares, Arsenal would be unbearable, them falling away hilarious.
At what point do the more attractive clubs than us in England, Spain and Italy (15 or so as a rough estimate), and less so Germany, have all the players they need without having to continually raid us? May sound like the stupid question it is, but we aren’t the only club worldwide they can...
From the BBS:
Getting pissed off with Brighton. Shouldn’t lose your two best players and your manager and be better for it. Not to mention the £107m they got in transfer fees and compensation from Chelsea and Spurs.
Arteta, all very pleasant when his team get a result, a whiny little shit when they don’t, his true colours, just like ‘smiley’ Klopp or Guardiola when the masks fall away, only somewhat smaller.
Just about every hit by The Police:
And when their eloquence escapes me
Their logic ties me up and rapes me
De do do do, de da da da
Is all I want to say to you
De do do do, de da da da
Or
I hope my legs don't break
Walking on the moon
(WTF?)
Not for me, much of the BBC’s content you can access free on the BBC website, uktvplay, YouTube etc. plus all BBC radio stations. I don’t know how anyone can happily pay that licence fee.
It’s for the EMPIRE, that fantastic British legacy we gave to the world! (Insert various atrocities inflicted on Africans/Indians/Carribean natives et al here. Bonus points for those mentioning the massacre of 400+ Jamaicans by us in 1865, Sol’s ancestral home)
:facepalm::wink:
