I like this period - as we approach the transfer deadline. The terminally dim witted can't hold themselves back at this time of year. That allows the rest of us to clock them and give them a bit of a swerve for the rest of the season. This thread in particular is proving very handy.

Last year he scored 10 goals from 29 shots - 1 in 3. Of those 29 shots, 12 were on target. This year, 13 shots, of which 4 on target, 3 goals. Basically if he gets the ball on target he scores.
Sadly, BZs shots totals are not recorded (on ESPN stats at least -...
Loving the positivity. Loving our defenders looking to pass offensively as early as they can. Loving seeing our midfield pressing the opposition very high up the field. Loving the new signings. Loving Leo's form. Safe to say I'm loving it.
He really reminds me of Michael Robinson in his pomp.
As for stats, last year he scored 1 goal from every 3 shots. But almost every time he shot on target he scored (10 from 11 on target shots I recall).
Less passing square at the back ovwr and over again. This should mean oppo are less able to press us as deep as they did last year. And also thay we get forward momentum more quickly. I saw promising signs v Derby.

By referring to some of the replies as snidey. You could have chosen to let that go but you didn't. You had to make a reference to it and you had to use a term that placed you as a victim. But I think you knew that already. You're a good bloke but sometimes .........!
Not sure why we needed Kerrigan when Root has been bowling well. Seemed unnecessary unless the selectors genuinely thought he was a long term potential replacement for Swann. Surely there are better options than this chap?
