I can see the difference but it depends on what I’m watching whether I care or not. I have no desire to see every wrinkle and nose hair on Huw Edwards on the news, for example.
I just cannot even begin to imagine why anyone would even consider it. There must be some vanity gene that i completely lack.
Same goes for women with boob jobs, and worst of all, those ridiculous Botox lips. Are women with lips like Mick Jagger actually attractive to anyone?
I’m not saying it’s not horrible but I think it makes a huge difference whether it was racist or not, especially given the thread title. Half of the posts on this thread have all jumped on the racism point (rightly, had it been that) but it could well not have been.
Think you might have massively misread the situation here (obvs I wasnt there) - but a 7 year old kid with special needs talking about "blackies" was almost certainly refering to the colour of their shirts. If they'd been in red it would probably have been "reddies".
I don’t understand why they have released this latest information about her struggles with menopause and alcohol. I can’t see how it helps the search for her - it doesn’t change anything and it’s deeply personal. It’s horrible for the family and how could it possibly help?
The trouble is, that’s what did for us yesterday. In attempting to hurry the decision they made a mistake. If you have it, it needs to be forensic or there’s no point in having it.
Get rid.
It’s a good shout this. The problem with it though is that it means that the premier league would have to use a different offside rule to the rest of the football pyramid and really that makes it a non-starter.
Even though the premier league is already different in having var, it is still...
At least a part of why our players look so good is the system they are playing in. I was watching Bissouma for Spurs at the weekend and he was being completely wasted, He was sat in the middle of a narrow 3-man midfield and spent the entire game passing to the player 5 yards to either side...
In retrospect,if it had been a red and we'd still won, the victory would have been attributed entirely to the red card. As it was, we won 11 v 11 because were the better team. Either way Evan would still be crocked.
Hopefully its nothing more than giving him a bit more time to get up to speed/match fitness etc. It also gave game time to VH to see if he was ready or not. He did ok in the general play - was just shown up a bit for the goals.
