I just went and bought 2 of their CDs on ebay for £1.27 each inc p&p on the strength of those two tracks. I've got Endless Summer (which I love) on a Damaged Goods comp, but hadn't heard anything else. Nice!
I had some Travoltas on today, and (as well as ploughing a fairly similar path to...
If you see any of that as providing 'absolute proof', I truly hope you are never called up for jury service.
How can you read this stuff and keep a straight face? Why are you so certain that this site is telling you the whole truth and everyone else is lying? Why are they lying? What is the...
Anyone read any Christopher Brookmyre? Great author.
In one of his novels, he describes the phrase "Political correctness gone mad" as "the distress call of the thwarted bigot".
"It was a phrase that certain conservative elements had thought up because they needed a stick to beat back at the...
You think we should all list our personal Top 10s? Songs. Singles. LPs. Bands.
Woooah! Awesome idea, but almost impossible, surely? Mine change every week, every day... every hour sometimes.
Still, we could give it a go...
I listened to the first one as I drove to Brighton at the weekend, but I couldn't check the tracklisting (for obvious reasons). Some good stuff though, and plenty which was new to me. I'll post up a mini-review of each disc over the next week or so. Thanks again
I like that, so I looked out some other stuff by them. This bizarre little thing couldn't be (much) further removed!
Oops. I've just realised it's not the same band at all, but the bloke from the band in Heaven directed the video.
Blimey! I own (or have owned) every track on that awesome compilation. The YMG track is a thing of utter beauty; I managed to sneak it in to the opening post of this thread:

Why do you post your opinions as fact?
More Brits want to stay in the EU than leave, and the gap between the two groups is currently growing.

I have no idea who you are, but for what it's worth, I don't like your user-name, your avatar, your signature, or that you've started an attention-seeking thread. All fine other than that though.
But their share of the vote actually declined dramatically from the local council elections last year - from 22% down to 17%.
PS It isn't the population's voting pattern that UKIP are 'ridiculed' for.
Just before we start sifting through the Euro election results tonight, I thought this article made some pertinent observations.

Ugly design, but good reading.
hybrid_x Seriously, why do you have this need for pretty much every news story to be linked to a conspiracy theory? I reckon I have a healthy scepticism to much of what we are fed through the media, but it seems that you can link any news story to a shady government agency or secret project...
Part 2 of my review.
11. Hurt – Johnny Cash. I love this now just as much as I did when I first heard it. Johnny Cash covering Nine Inch Nails doesn’t sound like it should work, but by golly it does. Still one of the best music videos ever. He knew he was dying when he recorded it and that...
Thank you. Farage is to the right of Thatcher on many issues; it's genuinely rather worrying. Having said that, UKIP are the ultimate one-trick pony and I suspect that this election will see them at the apex of their popularity with a long decline to follow. Let's hope so anyway.
Is basic protection for working people a 'very left wing' concept? I thought it was a common-sense approach. What's your right wing alternative?
I'm guessing you're all in favour of nurses being made to work more than 48 hours a week, bus drivers working 15 hour shifts, sick people shuffling in...
