well the way I see it, practically, we're probably losing caicedo and mac this summer. tbh I'd be disappointed if we sold more than those two. but maybe I need to prepare myself for that
just want to add he was f***ing brilliant. five or six times he was in a position where he had to win a header or else everton would be in behind and he made it every single time. really hope we can get him permanently, especially with chelsea signing that new left centre back
yes it was. dunk dived in and ings got the ball first. we'd be fuming if that wasn't given for us
agree. never saw it hit his hand but it was incredibly silly to dive in with his hands raised like that
agree. it was very, very soft.
agree but they should've got one earlier

well yes because he is a player good enough to punish defences when they make mistakes, like chelsea did (specifically Silva for both of Leo's big chances). still struggles against large, strong centre halfs when he's up there on his own
also think right wing specifically is an area we need to strengthen, obviously FB seems to have played more centrally but as he's left footed we could use him that way, and ease him in as a supplement to our existing options, as opposed to buying a new 'main man' when solly is already playing...
often the case when losing the other team will be sat back more. this makes it a lot easier to get to a point where you'd usually have broken through the first few lines, but obviously those players aren't there because they're sat further back. so there's less need for the centre backs to dwell...
maybe slows things down, but look at how it worked here:
think the whole point is using the movement/press of the opponent as the trigger for when to accelerate the buildup. standing on the ball like that means the opponent will probably go towards who has the ball, and the onus is on them to...
so... we've just come off the best year in our history. obviously, our current path is more than okay, but what would YOU like to see the Albion achieve this year??
(realistic and unrealistic aims both equally welcome)
could see him starting Vs everton, may be better to ease welbeck back in off the bench initially. but of course, if ferguson impresses, he should keep his place
granted that was the case tonight but it doesn't negate the fact that he was awful against charlton and disappeared against saints, neither of whom have top quality defenders. indeed, he does this sort of thing every year around this time
honestly one of the worst goalkeeping displays I've seen at the amex. never seemed to make himself big, as keepers do, and left an absolutely cavernous gap in his net for both the caicedo and trossard goals that were scored. as much as he's settled down a bit since then and been a lot better...
