If we’re already down when Liverpool come to the Amex we can focus more of our efforts on celebrating their season/title. What a day in prospect that’s looking like.
:moo:
I’m sure he’ll be fine, his second little team Brighton won a few promotions in that time to take the edge off of things. Some shameful Brighton ‘fans’ on this thread, feels like some inexplicable parallel universe I’ve stumbled into.
I’m sure many Rochdale, Southend, Tranmere, Bury, Wrexham, Torquay and Chesterfield fans can empathise with your pain, it must have been almost too much to bear at times. I’m glad you’re finally getting some peace of mind after three decades of pain. Unbelievable post, unbelievable.
It takes A Town Called Malice FC fan to restore some sanity on here, I thought I was going mad for a minute with this Liverpool love-in crap. Stunned that anyone but a Liverpool fan would wish anything but utter failure on them, even more so with the media love-in et al, just can’t relate to it...
And also, where do you draw the line in the sand regarding big club ethics. Dig a little and you’ll unearth unsavoury stuff directly/indirectly linked to them all in some form or another.

Not exactly what I was talking about. I couldn’t care less about Man City, I’ve no love for any club outside of BHA, my point was about going through school in the 70s/80s surrounded by Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal fans and the plastic love-in with those three traditional plastic fan base...
Personally I’d rather they didn’t win anything ever again. The whole thing has been nauseating enough already. At least with billion dollar Man City they were always ‘outsiders,’ as opposed to Liverpool or Man Utd, who have attracted glory hunters since time eternal.
Tongue in cheek post I imagine/hope, but for me it’s a one way street, the fans doing their bit regardless, rallying the team. I really don’t buy into this ‘the team need to give us something to cheer’ mindset, or ‘we need a flashpoint to spark the crowd.’
There’s POSITIVELY no atmosphere at the Amex whatsoever. You’d find more noise at Bishopstone Public Lending Library at 3pm on a Saturday...and that placed closed its doors to the public in 1973 for fark’s ache!! (Very last book to be borrowed was ‘Creating an Atmosphere’ by Arthur J Crump junior)
Couldn’t happen to a nicer manager. Unlikely the majority on here, I don’t mind Eddie Howe at all, Rogers on the other hand is an objectionable slime ball (imho).
