I had a frozen stash from back in the early days when I was producing waaaaaay too much milk so Romilly had that from a SNS finger feeding thing because she was quite happy to go hungry rather than take a bottle.
The hospital I was in does not have a milk bank, but then it doesn't have a...
Stick them both up your a***.
Coffee smells foul and I can't get my head around the whole tea thing so I stick to water or juice.
I used to drink coffee but not for a while now.
You should keep nursing and pumping from the affected breast/s if you have mastitis. I know it hurts awfully but it doesn't last forever. Express from that breast to ensure it's empty after baby has fed, plenty of hot showers and compresses to keep things loose in there, feel for the blocked...
Re: Re: Breast feeding - A time and a place?
Ditto ditto.
Breast is best and not just for nutrition, it cleared up my older daughters conjunctivitis a few weeks ago.
Hopefully the law will change very soon here to make it an offence to ask a woman to move or stop nursing her baby. The...
I feel the need to feed my baby wherever she is hungry. We don't sit at home all day or make a mad dash home every three/four/five hours to fit in with her schedule. If we are out and about and she is hungry she gets fed, much the same way my older children get a snack at the park if they are...
I can't be bothered with sterilising, expressing, freezing, defrosting, boiling a kettle and warming it up. Other things to be doing with my time, I'm lazy, not having to get out of bed at 2am come downstairs to warm a bottle up works for me! I'm lucky I can stay home and feed her when she needs...
Cool.
I have a problem with people who think we should plug our babies with bottles instead of bf'ing just to spare their feelers.
Breastfeeding is not something women should be embarrassed or ashamed of. They should be proud and congratulated for it, not shoved off to scummy public toilets to...
Romy is the same, she is ten months old now and will not drink from a bottle. She has mastered a sippy cup for water but will only take her milk fresh from the tap.
Which is fine for me, bottles and all that go with them are a pain in the butt.
That time and a place is wherever you are when your baby needs feeding.
Good for that lady, NIP is not an easy thing to do. She should be congratulated for it, not made to feel like she is doing something wrong.
Signed,
A nursing mama who is not afraid to whip 'em out whenever Romilly is...
Ah OK .thanks. I didn't know that, just assumed I should unplug it all the time.
We have a cable modem and the router and I have been turning them off completely every night.
So shouldn't I ever cut the power to our router? I pull the cord out the back of it every night when I switch the computer etc off, I thought I was meant to?
They won't be able to do that. Leeds sought advice from the FA, FL and planned to go into admin on the Monday but couldn't because they waited until the end of the week to get a signed legal document from the powers that be that a points deduction would be for last season despite us being all...
I'm not going to comment any more on the legal rights or wrongs until the 28 days are up or a decision is made before that because it's not over yet and we aren't sure what we are doing.
