I think I'm the opposite to you, I kid myself that we will get the worst possible result so that I am chuffed when, like you say, we smash teams like Charlton and Peterborough.
We can't always have it our way, i.e. win everything. Look at it this way, we can chuck people forward and risk losing it, or we can score, retain possession, get the draw and better our best start to the season, thus maintain confidence.
